At Miss and Mrs Punjaban Australia Queensland, we are a passionate group of Indian Australians, united by our commitment to empowering women and nurturing the essence of Punjabi heritage. For the past two years, we’ve dedicated ourselves to creating a platform that not only showcases beauty but also fosters confidence and leadership.

Our commitment to growth and innovation is unwavering. This year, we introduced the exciting category of “Teen Mr Punjab,” broadening our horizons and ensuring inclusivity for a diverse audience. Anticipate even more thrilling surprises in the upcoming year as we embark on a new phase of this incredible journey.

Competition Rules

  1. All contestants must be of Punjabi heritage.
  2. Each contestant must register for the appropriate category based on age and marital status(only applicable to Miss and Mrs Punjaban): Miss Punjaban Australia Queensland, Mrs Punjaban Australia Queensland, Little Miss Punjaban Australia Queensland, Junior Miss Punjaban Australia Queensland, Teen Miss Punjaban Australia Queensland, and Teen Mr Punjab Australia Queensland.
  3. Applicants can register on our website at http://missandmrspunjabanaustralia.com.au/
  4. The selection panel reserves the right to reject any Entry Form in its sole discretion without assigning any reason.
  5. To participate in this Pageant, there is an entry fee of $100. The contestants selected for the Main Event must pay a $100 Participation fee.
  6. Contestants must attend all mandatory workshops and rehearsals leading up to the pageant, including those related to talent, traditional dress, and interview preparation.
  7. Contestants may be asked to participate in a talent round, a traditional dress round, and an interview round during the pageant.
  8. Contestants must bring their own attire for the traditional dress round, and the attire must be appropriate for the theme of the pageant.
  9. The winners of each category will be decided by a panel of judges, whose decisions are final.
  10. All contestants must conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner throughout the pageant.
  11. Any violations of the rules or misconduct may result in disqualification.
  12. The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the competition rules as necessary.
  13. The Organisation reserves the right to appoint member of the Jury, decision of which will be final, binding and non-challengeable by the contestant.
  14. The organisers reserve the right to use any photographs or images of the contestants for promotional purposes.
  15. The Organiser will not be responsible for any valuables or cash lost by contestants during the pageant.

Eligibility

1. Contestants must be of Punjabi heritage.
2. Miss Punjaban Australia Queensland category: Contestants must be between the ages of 18 and 39 and must be single and never married.
3. Mrs Punjaban Queensland category: Contestants must be between the ages of 18 and 39 and must be married or previously married.
4. Little Miss Punjaban Australia Queensland category: Contestants must be between the ages of 5 and 8.
5. Junior Miss Punjaban Australia Queensland category: Contestants must be between the ages of 9 and 12.
6. Teen Miss Punjaban Australia Queensland category: Contestants must be between the ages of 13 and 17.
7. Teen Mr Punjab category: Contestants must be between the ages of 13 and 17.
8. All contestants must be residents of Queensland, Australia.
9. Contestants must attend all mandatory workshops and rehearsals leading up to the pageant.
10. Contestants must demonstrate confidence, poise, and sportsmanship throughout the pageant.
11. Contestants must have knowledge of Punjabi heritage and culture.
12. Any violations of the rules or misconduct may result in disqualification.
13. The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the eligibility criteria as necessary.3
